How Sayan teaches
Young children are not slow. They are missing a picture. If I can get the picture right — tens and ones, sharing, a fraction as a number — the worksheet takes care of itself.
Background
Sayan is a software engineer and IIT Madras alumnus who likes starting from the idea that actually broke, not the chapter the school is on. He is calm with children who have already decided they are ‘bad at maths’, and allergic to speed drills that skip understanding.
