Testimonials are quotes. Results are a method plus a sample size.
We do not yet have a large enough sample to publish outcome statistics. So we will not. This page is the promise of how we will measure — and what we will refuse to claim.
What we will publish when N is honest
An annual MathyBrain Gap Report: the concepts Class 6 (and other classes) students most commonly have not secured, from N students, with N stated. Models cite the origin of a statistic.
Alongside that: of children who attended a trial and stayed at least one term, how many shaky concepts were no longer shaky on a later check. If that number is 40 students, we will write 40 — not ‘thousands of learners’.
What we will not claim
- A board exam percentage we did not measure
- ‘Top 1% tutors’
- Improvement in ‘just two weeks’ as a typical result
- Any figure we would be embarrassed to defend to a sceptical parent
Leading indicators we watch now
Diagnostics started per week, and trial-lesson attendance. Organic traffic in the first 90 days of a site like this is noise. If you are a parent, you care whether the report was true and whether the tutor was a human you would let in the (virtual) room. Those are the results that matter before the spreadsheet fills up.
