Who is in the session

Lessons are one child and one named tutor. Tutors are identity-checked before they appear on this site. We will not put someone on a camera with your child whose legal name we have not verified. Parents may sit in or drop in. A child should not be asked to turn a camera on in a bedroom with a closed door if a parent is uncomfortable — say so; we will work around it.

Recordings

Sessions are recorded by default and available to the parent on the account. Recordings are not a public product and are not used as marketing without separate, explicit consent. If recording is legally or practically impossible in your setup, we will say so before the trial — we will not silently skip it.

Communication

Tutors do not take a child’s personal WhatsApp as the official channel. Scheduling and notes go through the parent. If a tutor ever asks a child to move the conversation off the platform, tell us the same day at info@geekashram.in.

Data about minors

Diagnostic answers, lesson notes, and recordings are collected to teach and to keep the child safe — not to train a public model and not to sell on. We aim to meet the spirit of India’s DPDP Act, and COPPA/GDPR where those regimes apply to you. The privacy policy is the longer version; this paragraph is the parenting version: we do not want more of your child’s data than the work requires.

If something feels wrong

Email info@geekashram.in with ‘safeguarding’ in the subject. A human reads it. If you need to stop sessions immediately, write that in the first line — we will freeze the calendar before we write a polite paragraph.
